Max Krauss, MCP, RCC, CCC

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Victoria, BC, providing virtual counselling to clients across the province. I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work, having navigated bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, mania, and psychosis myself.

My journey to becoming a counsellor began during a “dark night of the soul” while working in the book industry. I realized I wanted a career with meaning and personal impact, and counselling was the perfect fit.

I practice an eclectic, trauma-informed approach, drawing from CBT, ACT, Brainspotting, Jungian Therapy, DBT, and my primary focus is Existential Therapy, helping clients explore life’s big questions to build clarity, resilience, and wellbeing.
