Janine Thompson, MSW, RSW
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to reflect, grow, and reconnect with their values. Together, we explore your story, identify patterns and strengths, and uncover new possibilities for healing and personal growth.
My approach is affirming, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re navigating major life stress, trauma, or feeling out of sync with expectations, you’re not alone. I support clients to feel more grounded, authentic, and empowered in their lives.
I work extensively with trauma survivors using evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Experiencing, helping clients process pain, build coping tools, and reconnect with their inner strength.
My practice is trauma-informed, queer-affirming, and grounded in anti-oppressive, strength-based care. I also provide hormone readiness assessments as part of gender-affirming care, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all clients.
