I am a passionate and dedicated therapist supporting individuals living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), developmental trauma, and attachment trauma. I co-founded the BPD Society of BC in 2012 to address gaps in services for people living with BPD and their loved ones, and in 2022 founded Chiron Centre to provide specialized therapy services.

My counselling practice integrates evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am comprehensively trained in DBT for individuals, groups, adolescents, and people with substance use concerns. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I support clients experiencing nervous system dysregulation and complex trauma.

Using a multimodal, trauma-informed approach, I draw on my lived experience, professional training, and knowledge to work from frameworks including strengths-based practice, anti-oppressive care, polyvagal theory, and attachment theory.

With over 20 years of experience in the human services field, I have worked in diverse settings, including group homes, women’s transition houses, street outreach, health authorities, non-profits, youth centres, peer support groups, DBT groups, and psychiatric hospitals. I bring warmth, empathy, and validation into each session, emphasizing a collaborative, client-centered approach and creating a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space for all clients.
